The extensive seminar programme at Ecobuild this year provided lots of hands-on advice and tackled, as promised, the practicalities involved in turning the sustainable vision into reality. From Living Roofs to Intelligent Buildings the Ecobuild seminar programme provided in-depth practical solutions to complement the extensive conference themes. The Ecobuild conference – now in its fourth year – was aimed at everyone involved in the creation and delivery of policy and regulations, and any aspect of architecture and design, engineering, planning, surveying, development and construction. Delegates also included many from the client sector who were interested in the impact of sustainability on their buildings, estates or future plans. The 2007 Ecobuild conference was titled, 'Making Sustainable Construction Happen', and it focused on bringing about change. The conference comprised six half-day sessions, each addressing a key theme. Delegates were able to choose which sessions were of most interest and use their time effectively. This year, Ecobuild took place at the same time as four other events by IBE - the organiser, each of the events focused on a key theme and each providing a dedicated conference, series of seminars and an exhibitions Cityscape – place-making and the refurbishment of the public realm
The Green Building Press supported Ecobuild this year with Building for a Future magazine providing media support and the Green Building Bible supporting the low impact building seminars Useful Information about Ecobuild 2007 Ecobuild link - Ecobuild
